About the Funder Data Platform
The Funder Data Platform (FDP) is part of the Research on Research Insitute (RoRI). The main goal of the Funder Data Platform is to provide a trusted interface for data sharing and analysis among RoRI's consortium members and partners. To accomplish that, we strive to
create an environment of trust through strong security practices and transparent governance.
The FDP provides a secure environment where research funding organisations ("funders") can enter collaboration agreements with researchers and other funders to conduct individual research projects, thereby increasing their own knowledge about who and what they fund. It allows funders to maintain fine-grained and ongoing control over which data they give access and to which users.
We recognise that trust must be earned over time.
Our first commitment is to provide this transparent documentation so you can understand how our platform works. If you notice any gaps or unclear areas, we encourage you to get in touch.
Our second commitment is to continuously improve. If you have concerns, questions, or suggestions, please reach out — we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for everyone.
Joining the Funder Data Platform
The Funder Data Platform is supported by the Research on Research Institute and the Novo Nordisk Foundation. As a result, the Funder Data Platform is free to use - there are no hidden fees or premium plans.
To join the Funder Data Platform, whether you are a researcher or a research funder, your organisation needs to have a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreement with us. Once that is in place, your organisation administrators can create an account for you.
To start this process, please send us an e-mail at funderdataplatform@au.dk.
